Even if Lionel is French, he decided to share his knowledge with British Cycling and the Association of British Cycling Coaches. He's now fully qualified in UK as ABCC Coach Level 3.

'As I decided to go to UK to share with British Cycling Coaches; it was an evidence for me to create a Training Structure in UK : thats was the first step of RACE CLEAN. The name of the structure was decided as for me a good coaching and a good perforance training follow up are the key point of doping prevention.'.

'We had in November around a dozens of Elite Riders (Pro and Amateur riders); all these riders have the same involvement in Drug-Free Cycling and doping prevention.
Our riders glanned great results with Romain Lemarchand in France who won the U23 TT French Championship  (he's now pro rider); some Pro riders such as Geoffroy Lequatre (Team Schack) decided to join us to prepare next season. We are not coaching only Elite riders, we're coaching recreational riders involved in charities such as London-Paris . Each Race Clean Rider is equally supported by our structure to ensure him the best performance'.
Different training follow up and different way of Coaching (from £50 / month) are proposed by Race Clean.

'We're trying to build a riding community around Race Clean Coaching activities but it's still in progress for next season. The first step has been passed in November with the design of the Race Clean Jerseys; we are now thinking in a creation of dynamic website for riders.'
